Antique Pine Sleigh Bed with Shaped Panels, c. 1900

An adorable and unique antique pine sleigh bed, c. 1900. This bed has so much character! Shaped panelling on the headboard and footboard and some very sweet finials—a sphere on top of saucer (not a common shape for these beds). Matching headboard and footboard heights.

Note: On one side of the bed you will notice that the finials have been cut. This is neither a mistake nor a break—it was done to saddle the bed right up against the wall (as close as possible). A window into its past life.
